  • 4 wholemeal pita bread
  • american style mustard or hummus to serve
  • 2 roma tomatoes sliced
  • 1 carrot peeled into ribbons
  • mixed lettuce to serve
  • 3 dill pickles sliced optional

  • heat a stove top grill or large non stick frying pan over high heat and spray with oil spray cook the steaks in batches for 1 2 minutes each side then remove and keep warm
  • cut each pita bread in half spread a little mustard or hummus inside the pita bread pockets cut each piece of steak in half and place in the pita pockets add the tomato carrot lettuce and dill pickles if desired and serve
