Greek Roasted Lamb


An easy to carve leg of lamb - perfect for your family on a cold winters night.

The ingredient of Greek Roasted Lamb

  • 1 1kg boneless lamb leg
  • 16 oregano sprigs
  • 16 rosemary sprigs
  • 2 garlic cloves thinly sliced
  • 2 teaspoons coles brand paprika
  • 2 red onions cut into wedges
  • 4 desiree potatoes cut into wedges
  • 1 lemon cut into wedges
  • 1 cup kalamata olives pitted
  • 1 cup massel salt reduced chicken style liquid stock
  • coles bakery stone baked pane de casa loaf to serve
  • steamed green beans to serve
  • steamed snow peas to serve

The Instruction of greek roasted lamb

  • preheat oven to 200c or 180c fan forced place lamb in a large roasting pan use a small sharp knife to cut small slits about 2cm deep on the surface of the lamb insert oregano and rosemary sprigs and garlic into each slit sprinkle with paprika season
  • arrange onion potato lemon and olives around lamb drizzle with stock roast for 15 mins reduce oven to 180c or 160c fan forced roast for 45 mins for medium or until cooked to your liking cover with foil rest for 10 mins
  • thickly slice lamb serve with the vegetables lemon and bread
